HAU celebrates the 1st Angeles City Chorale Festival

The First Angeles City Chorale Festival which featured the works of Professor Eudenice V. Palaruan, one of the Philippines' most esteemed classical musicians, took place last August 2, 2014 at Holy Angel University. Eudenice Palaruan has been widely known in the choral music industry for exhibiting great passion towards his chosen field. He was an instructor at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music where he taught Music Theory, Choral conducting, Liturgical Text Composition and Voice. He was also the music director of AILM ASIAN Ensemble, presenting an all-ASIAN choral works.
The participating choral groups of the said festival came from different parts of Luzon including Bataan Peninsula Chamber Singers (Bataan), Central Luzon State University Maestro Singers (Nueva Ecija), Divine Majesty Male Choir (Pampanga), Koro Santa Lucia (Pampanga), Maryknoll Sanctuary Choir (Baguio) and Urdaneta City University Music Ensemble (Pangasinan).
With utmost talent, confidence, and insurmountable efforts of the participants, the festival has been successfully celebrated. Indeed, angelic voices have reached the heaven once again.
