ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERS

Holy Angel University in partnership with its Alumni Batches work hand in hand through the University’s scholarship program by giving assistance to deserving students whose station in life limits their options.
Alumni Batches are invited and encouraged to hold their homecoming in their Alma Mater. As an act of paying forward and of gratitude for the blessings received in becoming successful in their chosen field, members of the alumni donate a certain amount of cash in aid for the education of worthy students.
Mrs. Nila Yumul, the president of batch 1987 (ARCHANGELS), met with the Scholarship Office and discussed the means of providing scholarship to students. As an initial act of partnering, the batch donated ninety-nine thousand pesos (P99,000.00) to the HAU Scholarship Endowment Fund.
Batch 1961 (ANGELITES), sponsoring two Teacher Education students by giving 100% tuition grant, entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with HAU. Mr. Arthur Buan, the batch representative, emphasized that it is the mission of their batch to uplift academically inclined students particularly enrolled in the Teacher Education Program. By helping future teachers, it would have a justified effect as educators are entrusted to the formation of the mind and hearts of thousands of students.
Both Batch 1963 (EVERGREENS) and Batch 1964 (ASTRONAUTS) had recently celebrated their 50th year anniversary inside the University. The EVERGREENS, represented by Mrs. Celia Timbol, donated one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) to the HAU Endowment Fund. On the other hand, the ASTRONAUTS also donated one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) to the school’s scholarship program.
Through their president, Mr. Rennier Perez, Batch 2002, (GENYSIS) also donated an amount of one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) to the HAU Scholarship Endowment Fund. This batch was considered as the first and youngest batch who donated in HAU’s Scholarship Program. They had held their reunion in the campus last December 2012.
Holy Angel University through its Scholarships and Grants Office is very grateful to these Alumni Batches as they had supported HAU’s mission of making quality education accessible to deserving students.
