A ribbon cutting ceremony regarding KATUTUBU, an exhibit in celebration of the Indigenous People’s Month was held on October 7, 2014 at the student center of Holy Angel University.
The focus of the said event are the Indigenous groups currently residing in Pampanga such as the Aetas, Kapampangans and Sama D’Laut. Native arts, crafts and photos are displayed with the purpose of creating awareness and promoting native culture especially to the Angeleños. Among those who attended the exhibit were Mr. Robert P. Tantingco – Director of Juan D. Nepomuceno Center for Kapampangan Studies, Ysagani Ybarra – Artist and Cultural Worker from Mabalacat, and Leaders of the Sama D’Laut. In addition, the event was made possible with the help of Angeles City Library and Information Center, Bayung Mardika, Catalonan Inc., Juan D.
